Kendall County Republican Party Scholarships
Each year, the Kendall County Republican Party, Kendall County Republican Women, and the Kendall County Republican Club award scholarships to graduating seniors who call Kendall County home and are preparing to take the next step into higher education or workforce training.
These scholarships are awarded based not only on academic performance, but also on moral character, work ethic, community involvement, school participation, employment history, church and volunteer activities, and demonstrated financial need. Applicants must be residents of Kendall County to be considered.
Two scholarship opportunities are available:
Academic Scholarship for students pursuing a college or university degree
Vocational Scholarship for students pursuing trade school, certification programs, or workforce training
Application Instructions
Please follow these steps carefully. Incomplete or improperly submitted applications may not be considered by the Scholarship Committee.
Complete the application in full
Complete the extracurricular activities page
Write and attach the required essay (300 words, Times New Roman, 12-point font)
Academic applicants must choose one of the provided civic engagement topics (see page 4 of the application)
Vocational applicants must describe their intended technical career path and motivation (see page 4 of the application)
• Include one letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, advisor, or administrator
Obtain both student and parent signatures (mandatory)
Once complete:
Scan all required documents into a single PDF file
Do not send multiple attachments
